How to make your post to appear right here?
If you want to list your posts here, you should go to you theme's options (Appereance => Theme Options) and put the category's id. Please note that if the category doesn't consist any posts, you'll be still seeing sample posts.
How to assign a picture to a featured post?
Select a post & click edit through your admin panel. Scroll down to the section named "Custom fields" then create a field named "picture" and the value should contain a path where you stored a picture. You may also create a custom field named "url" just in case you want to link your post elsewhere.

My Kitty is sick and it doesn’t look good.
FB is fun, but I have no time for it in the summer; way too many things going on.

Been busy…
Posted on April 19th, 2009 No commentsMy Kitty has been sick, so I’ve been totally worried about her. It is a waiting game at this point.
Work has been busy. I find that some days I am mentally drained. That is part of life.
We went camping at Smith’s Point this weekend. It was chilly, but so nice to not be home.
I put my nails back on – after 8 months of them being off. I just felt incomplete.
My back is killing me, and I need to lose weight.
That’s it, in a nutshell, I know, fun and exciting.

a high school reunion of sorts…
Posted on March 20th, 2009 No commentsthis was rather fun. I haven’t seen some of my old classmates since I graduated; for those of you that need to do that math, it’s basically 25 years in June.
We all met at a local bar in Northport. As it turns out, our old high school principal works there. I’m sure he was probably a little embarrassed, as we are all loud, but hey, gotta make the best of it right?
At the end of the night, we all agreed that we need to do this again. I hope that really is the case. Quite a few of us had said, why bother with the reunion, when we can do our own, and be with the people we want to be with. That’s really all it comes down too, right.
Ok, so another reminder, and you all know what a car gal I am, Captree was pretty hopin on Sunday morning. I personally like to watch all the stereotypical guys in their ’stangs trying to be all, oh I don’t know, stereotypical. Very enjoyable, but you know how I love to people watch. I really actually love the reaction when they ask my husband about his car, which is so my car. Captree is no charge until Memoriual Day, I believe. Then we move to the old OBI location. Keep it in mind, an early Sunday drive is always a nice thing

I have been so busy
Posted on March 12th, 2009 No commentsdoing a lot of nothing. Go figure. It’s just that life is so crazy and intense, when the hell did it change? Serioulsy, I need to hire myself a maid and a cook. I think I could get everything else done.
I am totally looking forward to spring, and the longer days
I got a new tattoo and decided to have my nose pierced. The nose is something I’ve wanted to do for three years. We’ll see how long it lasts. I do stuff just to do it. Not for a reaction. You only live once.
Pete is good, as well as the pets.

Posted on February 27th, 2009 No commentsshe sang backup for Shontelle yesterday. Check it out here, scroll to the video area, midway right side, and search for Shontelle – if it doesn’s how up. Mandy is the one all the way to the right, sitting, and if you listen for the background vocals you will hear Mandy; it seems the other girl was barely singing.
I wish her much luck in her venture and hope that someday soon, she will be discovered and on the journey she needs to be on…Love you girl!
